About Luke

Thanks for coming by. I’m Luke, a brand and event strategist working at the intersection of communications, storytelling and live experiences.

Over the past decades I’ve worked with agencies, creative studios, non-profits and founders to uncover their brand narrative and bring it to life through content, campaigns and conferences.

My career has spanned creative and communications agencies, marketing leadership, brand strategy and the curation of industry events spanning advertising, film and TV, climate technology and social action — across UK, Europe, APAC and the US.

Today, I run Found, helping organisations uncover their most powerful story and turn it into ideas people gather around.

Recent work:

  • Running strategy for a comms consultancy, facilitating exploratory, iterative workshops with client leadership teams and articulating brand strategies encompassing positioning, narratives and leadership profiles which are translated into communications strategies.

  • Working with leadership team to uncover a marketing strategy and rebrand designed to deliver a unifying vision and channel planning that brings disparate brands under a singular vision of growth and relevance.

  • Building a brand from the bottom-up, developing a strategy for an entrepreneur promising to use tech to change the face of the European model industry. Defining an ownable position, values, narrative development and strategic business planning.

  • Developing positioning and marketing communications strategies for a number of business owners and start-ups. Working with founders to synthesise complicated ideas into beautifully crafted, compelling brand stories and actionable strategies which are easy to digest.

  • Facilitating strategic sessions to develop a unifying story to refresh the brand proposition of an Academy Award-winning global creative studio, providing internal teams with a new brand story and informing external communications.

  • Igniting a young production house with renewed determination through a comprehensive brand playbook, media training and stage opportunities designed to increase awareness of the fledgling organisation.

  • Providing a branding agency with the outside perspective necessary to ignite business growth. Developing narratives, positioning and messaging matrix, as well as writing opinion pieces and long-form copy to build leadership team profiles.

  • Recruiting and leading a marketing team for an industry trade body built to deliver brand re-evalutaion, channel marketing programmes, data and insights, and customer-retention communications programmes aimed at community building amongst a savvy UK advertising audience.

  • Co-founding and leading marketing and brand efforts for UK creative industry anti-harassment initiative. Working with creative agency to plan and implement an award-winning campaign designed to challenge, provoke and affect change.
